The location was perfect for our Christmas break getaway, with easy access to hiking trails and nearby attractions. We were able to enjoy the stunning natural beauty of the area and explore the charming small town nearby. The owners were friendly and provided helpful recommendations for local hikes. We also loved the cozy atmosphere of the lodge, especially the classic old fireplace where we could relax after a day of hiking.
Our room was on the smaller side and lacked some of the amenities we were hoping for. Additionally, the breakfast options were somewhat limited and didn't cater to all dietary preferences.

Wonderful old hotel with an amazing breakfast selection. Good setting very close to mountains to climb in the area. The quieter, and the river. 5 minutes walk from Hopkins Trail. Free parking on-site provided. Easy check-in.

I had the best time at this cozy lodge during my recent stay. When I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that I had been upgraded to a larger room with a private bathroom. The owners were incredibly welcoming and gave me amazing recommendations for hikes in the area. The highlight of my stay was definitely the evenings spent by the fireplace, sharing stories with other guests. The breakfast spread in the morning was delicious and provided the perfect fuel for a day of exploring. I highly recommend this lodge for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
